A new rideshare drop-off area has opened in what was once the Downtown Disney District parking lot at the Disneyland Resort. This is the parking lot right off of Magic Way, across from the entrance to the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. In recent years, this has been mostly used as a parking lot for those working in the Downtown Disney District. Now, a new rideshare drop-off zone can be found on the west side of the Disneyland Resort.
Friends of Daps Magic, Mike and Matt, stopped by the Disneyland Resort and took the following photos and video of this new area. It looks like things are still being worked on, so this area will continue to evolve. The new drop-off also includes a new path to make it to the Downtown Disney District security checkpoint from the area. Take a look at what it looks like, as of Thursday afternoon, here:

When DisneylandForward was approved in 2024, it set the Disneyland Resort on a path to growth utilizing land it already owns. It has been expected that more changes would begin to be seen around the Disneyland Resort. This is especially true as work begins on a new parking structure, bridge, and arrival experience into the Esplanade at the Disneyland Resort from its east side. Ground was officially broken on this massive new parking structure this week. While this may not be directly connected to this project, it is a part of the path to the future for The Happiest Place on Earth.

Some word went out that the transportation hub will currently be moved to west side entrance of Downtown Disney.
