Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland

Haunted Mansion Holiday Returns for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

On Thursday evening, guests visiting Disneyland were treated to an early opening of Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square. The soft opening came ahead of its official opening on Friday, August 21, 2026, for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Jack Skellington had apparently wrecked the halls ahead of time and was welcoming guests to join in the holiday fun.

Friend of Daps Magic, Spencer, happened to be walking by the attraction when it opened. He quickly hopped in line and took the following video of the attraction. This includes a first look at this year’s gingerbread house! Take a look below at this year’s Haunted Mansion Holiday and then share what you think of it below in the comments!

Decked Out for the Hallow-Days

Jack Skellington has been busy decorating the Haunted Mansion for the Haunted Mansion Holiday—with frightfully festive touches inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Experience thrilling sights and seasonal surprises created by the residents of Halloween Town. Sally, Oogie Boogie and other Nightmare characters from the beloved film will be on hand to wish you “Season’s Screamings!”

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will continue through October 31, 2026. Jack Skellington will also be lighting up the night throughout the season as a part of Halloween Screams, the nighttime spectacular. The Haunted Mansion Holiday will remain through the end of the year and the holiday season at The Happiest Place on Earth!
