Halloween Time has taken over the Disneyland Resort. Throughout The Happiest Place on Earth, decorations can be found, merchandise can be bought, seasonal food can be eaten, and characters can be met! During Halloween Time, many characters get their best spirited outfits on when they meet with guests. Other characters seemingly materialize from somewhere unknown to meet with guests throughout the season. Below is a look at the variety of characters that can be met during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland

Main Street, USA

On Main Street, USA, Mickey and friends are dressed in their new Halloween costumes for Halloween Time. They greet guests throughout the day as they visit Town Square. Here is a look at the characters who are meeting in their Halloween costumes in Town Square:

At 12:15 PM each day, they all join the Disneyland Band for the March Along Main Street. This magical moment starts at Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Disneyland Band marches through the gate and across the bridge to perform for guests. They are followed by Mickey and friends. They then march down Main Street, USA with guests in tow. Ultimately, they end in Town Square, where they perform for a few minutes in front of the train station.

Mickey & Friends then appear in the Mickey & Friends Halloween Time Cavalcade at 1:30 PM and then 2:45 PM along the parade route. The first cavalcade begins near it’s a small world and makes its way to Main Street, USA, and Town Square. The second cavalcade reverses course and goes the opposite direction. This is another great way to see Mickey and the gang in their Halloween costumes without having to wait in line.

New Orleans Square

Over in New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington and Sally can be found meeting with guests during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. They meet with guests throughout the season in the Royal Courtyard.

The Villains

There are some favorite villains to be found at Disneyland throughout Halloween Time as well. They create some magical moments as they bring their mayhem to Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom.

Disney California Adventure

Buena Vista Street

There are quite a few characters to also be found at Disney California Adventure during Halloween Time. This begins the moment that guests enter Disney California Adventure and Buena Vista Street, as Mickey and friends can be found dressed in their old-school Halloween costumes.

Cars Land

Over in Cars Land, Lightning McQueen and the other residents of Radiator Springs have donned their Halloween costumes for when they take a drive into town. On top of that, there are Halloween ride overlays so guests can enjoy Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree. The following characters can be found when visiting Cars Land.

Mickey’s Trick and Treat

A fun way to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy in different Halloween costumes is by visiting Disney Theater and catching Mickey’s Trick and Treat. This show is fun for the whole family and in an air-conditioned venue. It has two original songs, video projections, special effects, bubbles, and interactivity.

Plaza de la Familia

Plaza de la Familia also gives guests visiting Disney California Adventure the chance to see some seasonal character offerings. This is particularly true with Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco! This show retells the story of Pixar’s Coco and runs through November 2, 2026.

Hotels of the Disneyland Resort

The Hotels of the Disneyland Resort also offer some incredible opportunities to see Disney characters dressed in their best Halloween Time outfits. Over at the Disneyland Resort, Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween gives a fantastic chance to see Goofy and friends in their Halloween best while also enjoying some delicious dishes. The following characters can be found at this buffet (reservations suggested). This buffet will be available through October 31.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests can enjoy Mickey’s Autumn Adventures Breakfast & Brunch at Storytellers Cafe. This breakfast and brunch buffet is available from August 21 through November 15. Guests can enjoy Mickey waffles, custom-made waffles, and meet Mickey and friends while enjoying this offering.

In the evening, Storytellers Cafe becomes the home for Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner. This offering will be available through October 31st. There are plenty of delicious dishes to be enjoyed while meeting Clarabelle and friends.

Reservations for all three of these buffet offerings can be made at Disneyland.com or on the Disneyland App. It is highly suggested that reservations be made for these as they are quite popular.
