She worked with Disney in multiple ways. Her song 9 to 5 appeared in Down and Out with Donald Duck during a montage of Donald Duck working different jobs. The song was also utilized in the end credits of Gravity Falls in the episode Summerween. She appeared in films that included Straight Talk, Frank McKlusky, C.I., Gnomeo & Juliet, and also on Hannah Montana.

Dolly Parton was born in a one-room cabin in Tennessee and began performing as a child in church. By 11 years old, she was singing on the radio. By 13, she was performing at the Grand Ole Opry. She moved to Nashville after graduating high school. There, she became a performer on The Porter Wagoner Show. Her debut album was Hello, I’m Dolly. This included multiple hits and started off a career full of hits that saw Parton become one of the most beloved artists in the industry.

Throughout her 70-year career, she won multiple awards and was honored for her work in music and on screen. Recently, she had an interview with People where she shared about her health struggles.
