U. S. Air Force Band of The Golden West Performs at Disneyland Resort Ahead of 4th of July

On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the United States Air Force Band of The Golden West performed around the Disneyland Resort. These performances were part of the Disney Celebrates America festivities that are happening around the Disneyland Resort and beyond for the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.

The band started its performances with marches up and down the parade route through Disneyland. The first parade through the park had the band starting at it’s a small world and ending in Town Square. It can be seen here:

The second parade started in Town Square and made its way to the back of the park and ended at the it’s a small world end of the parade route. In both cases, the band played some fun music before playing the Air Force Theme again. They would go back and forth between songs.

In the evening, the band moved to two sit-down sets in Disney California Adventure. They were at the Hollywood Backlot stage at 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Both of these concerts included patriotic music, a salute to service members, and a medley of songs from days gone by. Both sets were a lot of fun and a perfect lead-up to the 4th of July at The Happiest Place on Earth! They can both be seen below.

The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West is stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California. It is the only active duty Air Force band that is west of the Rockies. It is comprised of approximately 60 Airmen-musicians under the command of Captain Brian O’Donnell.
