D23 Day at Disneyland Resort & Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party 2026 are almost here! August 13th will see these celebrations taking over The Happiest Place on Earth! Ahead of the big day, which also happens to be one day before the start of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disneyland Resort has shared details about what fans can expect when they visit! Note: If you do want to be one of those visiting fans, be sure to have a valid admission and a reservation! D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort Offerings
Here is a look at the special offerings for those visiting the Disneyland Resort, including D23 Members and D23 Event 2026 attendees. for D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort.
Complimentary Ear Hats and Commemorative Guides
When the parks open on August 13th, guests entering Disneyland and Disney California Adventure with valid theme park admission may receive a complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hat that features the D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort logo. Commemorative guides will also be passed out upon entering. As with all things, these will be offered only while supplies last.
Disney Legends Cavalcade
At 1:30 PM, the Disney Legends Cavalcade will make its way through Disneyland. This will include the Disneyland Band, 23 characters, and select Disney Legends.
Photo opportunities
Throughout the day there will be some photo opportunities to be found. Merlin from The Sword and the Stone and the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio will be showing up at Disneyland in Fantasyland. There will also be D23 Day icon photo locations found throughout the resort and special Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots. On top of this, photo booths in the Hollywood Backlot in Disney California Adventure and the Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland will have D23 Day-themed photo strips (for an additional fee).
Throughout the day (August 13th), guests with valid admission and reservations may also receive complimentary unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the day. There will also be Magic Shots during the day.
Special Merchandise
D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort will also include limited-time items that include the D23 Day logo collection, the Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket, The Hunchback of Notre Dame 30th anniversary collection, Alice in Wonderland 75th collection, and more.
D23 Logo Collection Locations:
- Emporium at Disneyland
- Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure
- World of Disney at Downtown Disney
There will also be D23 Day Medallions. They will be found at:
- Candy Palace at Disneyland
- Kingswell Shop at Disney California Adventure
- Near Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney
On top of that, there will be a Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey Cake Pop. This cake pop will be found at Candy Palace in Disneyland, Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure, and Disney Wonderful World of Sweets in Downtown Disney,
Special Entertainment
There will also be special entertainment offerings to be found for this special day. This includes Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Bash being offered at the Tomorrowland Terrace from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This will be followed by the Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Dance Party from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration Live Performance
A new offering this year, a limited number of fans may get the opportunity to attend the live performance of Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration in Disney California Adventure. This August 13th performance will take place in anticipation of World Princess Week. It promises to bring together the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled. They will be performing with the backdrop of dazzling lights, sweeping projections, and sky-high fountains. Details on experiencing this as they are currently known are here:
- Time: Virtual queue enrollment begins at 12:00 p.m. PST. Concert performance times are 8:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. PST
- Location: Paradise Gardens Park, California Adventure
A virtual queue confirmation, wristband, and valid admission for Disney California Adventure are required to participate in this experience.
This concert will be streamed on Disney+ and broadcast on the Disney Channel, Freeform, and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Hotels of the Disneyland Resort Activities
At the Rose Court Garden at Disneyland Hotel and discover where love meets magic on D23 Day. There will be immersive entertainment, unique photo opportunities, and the opportunity to see how love stories come to life with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings. Through August, Disneyland Hotel will also have a photo opportunity that is inspired by the upcoming film, Camp Rock 3.
D23 Offerings and Discounts at Downtown Disney
From August 1st through August 16th, select locations at the Downtown Disney District will have special offerings or discounts for guests who show their D23 Event badge or D23 Gold Membership Cards. The specifics about these offers can be found at D23.com/discounts.
Those who aren’t attending D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event can still enjoy these offerings and other discounts by becoming a member of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club at D23.com.
