The Disney Store has officially opened its location at Selfridges Birmingham in the United Kingdom. The new store gives fans a place to go and get their Disney merchandise and fix right in the heart of Birmingham.
Patrick Segar, Global General Manager, Disney Store and VP, Retail Marketing, Disney Store, said: “We’re delighted to officially open the doors to our new Disney Store at Selfridges Birmingham and welcome fans and families from across the city and the wider Midlands.
Segar continued, “Disney Store has always been about so much more than shopping. It’s a place where families can spend time together, favourite stories are brought to life and every visit has the chance to become a special memory. We hope guests will discover something new, revisit old favourites and leave with smiles that last long after they’ve headed home.”
This new store provides an immersive shopping experience that has a range of official Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars products. This includes apparel, accessories, stationery, plush, collectibles, and dress-up collections from favorite Disney stories and their characters.
To commemorate the opening, the iconic Disney Store Key Ceremony was held. This will continue each day throughout the opening weekend. On top of that, as part of the celebration, Selfridges Unlocked members spending £50 or more in store from Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd August will receive a Disney and Pixar Toy Story Lotso plush keyring mystery box. This will continue while supplies last. Selfridges Unlocked is free to join.
For the guests visiting this new store, they will also be some of the first in the Midlands to shop the return of the beloved Selfridges Plush Collection. This collection includes the iconic yellow Disney Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh plush. This comes after the collection sold out during its previous release.
