On August 2, 2026, thousands of supporters will come together to walk through Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and then Downtown Disney District for the 2026 CHOC Walk in the Park. This walk raises funds for Rady Children’s Health Orange County, formerly Children’s Hospital of Orange County. On the morning of the walk, the walkers will show up at the Disneyland Resort before the sun rises. They will converge on Main Street, USA for the opening moment before walking through the park. Here is an overview of the CHOC Walk as seen in 2024:
For those who may want to know what the schedule looks like for the morning. Here is the outline of what will happen:
4:00 a.m. | Parking lots open, trams available for guests
Security checkpoints open
CHOC wristband replacement booth opens at the Disneyland® park stroller window (to the right of the main gates).
*Note: participants will not be able to check in and pick up swag items, ONLY wristbands
4:50 a.m. | Disneyland® park main gates open to CHOC Walk participants
5:15 a.m. | CHOC Walk Opening Moment begins on Main Street U.S.A.®
5:30 a.m. | CHOC Walk steps off on Main Street U.S.A.®
6:45 a.m. | Last walker permitted entry into Disneyland® park
7:25 a.m. | Last walker permitted entry into Disney California Adventure® park
9:00 a.m. | CHOC Walk ends
The CHOC Walk is a lot of fun, and often Team Daps Magic is done before 8:00 AM, and the team breaks off to get breakfast or a nap. It is a great way to start the day that only takes a few hours. These few hours make a huge difference for the families who have kids who receive care at Rady Children’s Health Orange County.
