On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will be celebrating its 250th anniversary. Disney is joining in the Semiquincentennial fun with its Disney Celebrates America initiative. This includes a 24-hour program, the arrival of Soarin’ Across America, and several other patriotic offerings. This includes food and merchandise. A new merchandise in the form of collectible medallions has arrived at the Disneyland Resort ahead of this special Independence Day.
On Main Street, USA, at Disneyland, there are two new collectible medallions that can be found at the Penny Arcade. These are themed to the 250th birthday, with one showcasing a patriotic Mickey Mouse design and another a patriotic Minnie Mouse design. The coins are $8 each or 4 for $30. There are two other coins available from this machine near the entrance of the Penny Arcade that are themed to the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration.
