Naples Ristorante e Bar in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort has announced a contest that pizza-lovers are going to think is a real slice. This comes in the form of the Ultimate Slice Showdown. The restaurant announced that submissions are now open for the Ultimate Slice Showdown. This contest is open to all pizza makers and enthusiasts who want to submit their best pizza recipe. The winning recipe will get a spot on Naples’ fall menu. Naples says that the Ultimate Slice Showdown is part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Downtown Disney District restaurant.
“We could not think of a better way to celebrate 25 years in the Downtown Disney District than putting a spotlight on our guests,” said Seth Rose, Chief Operating Officer for Patina Group. “Naples’ pizzas have been the anchor of our menus since the beginning, alongside those who have dined with us all these years. To recognize those loyal customers by giving them the opportunity to share their treasured recipes on our menu speaks to the family we have fostered since 2001.”
Recipes can be submitted by contestants today. Tickets to the final tasting on September 12th are also now available for purchase.

The finalists for this contest will be announced in early August. They will then be invited to compete at the Ultimate Slice Showdown tasting event on September 12. The finalists will be judged by a panel that is composed of culinary experts from Patina Group and the local community. The winner of the Ultimate Slice Showdown will have their pizza featured on the Naples’ Fall 2026 menu and also receive dining vouchers. The runner-up will also receive dining vouchers and have their pizza featured as a Pizza of the Month at Napolini, Naples’ quick-service location. Below are the key dates for this contest:

Multiple entries are allowed, but each submission must be unique.

Today, it is one of two restaurants that continue to operate 25 years later, alongside Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio.
