Kangaroos and Wallabies Arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

There are some new furry friends now found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kangaroos and wallabies are settling into Jumping Junction at Conservation Station. They aren’t available for most day guests to visit yet. However, this is one step closer to that! They are a part of the popular Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. As they are getting acclimated to the space, animal keepers are inviting small groups of people inside to walk along the path through the habitat. This is a part of the process of training for the kangaroos and wallabies. They are getting used to the space and also having guests visit Jumping Junction.

As these two types of animals get used to their new home, Disney shared some photos of them in Jumping Junction. The photos also show the path that guests are being escorted through currently.

“Eventually, we’d like to invite all our guests to have their own adventure walking through our habitat and sharing space with these amazing animals,” said Maggie, Zoological Manager. “As we’re acclimating the kangaroos and wallabies to be comfortable with guests in their space, we’re doing it very slowly and allowing the animals to let us know when they’re ready.”

Along with visiting the kangaroos and wallabies at Jumping Junction, there are many other things to experience at Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. This includes fun and games with Bluey and Bingo, seeing how animals are cared for at Walt Disney World Resort, merchandise, food, and more!
