‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Comes in With Strong Opening Weekend

The Devil Wears Prada 2 has had a very strong opening weekend at the box office. The sequel to the 2006 classic earned an estimated $233.6 million globally for its opening weekend. This included $77 million domestically and $156.6 million internationally. This makes this film’s opening one of the strongest for 2026 to date.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 currently has the second-highest Motion Picture Association (MPA) global opening of 2026 so far. It sees the original main cast returning once again. This includes Meryl Streep, future Disney Legend Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci with Director David Frankel.

With the success of its opening weekend, The Devil Wears Prada 2 has already earned 72% of what the original film earned in total at the box office. The Devil Wears Prada finished its theatrical run with $326 million globally.
