D23 has announced that it will be going to Singapore in 2027 for D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. This is the first time that the event will be held in Singapore, the current homeport for its newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Adventure. This is being billed as a major milestone in Disney’s expansion of its global fan celebrations, specifically across the Asia Pacific region.
This will be an event that offers fans a first look at the latest and greatest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation. The event will bring Disney fans from throughout Asia and beyond. There will also be top stars and storytellers from Hollywood and around the world. This will be an event that brings together global communities through shared fandom, beloved characters, and immersive experiences.
The event will come a year after the 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this August. This is the newest expansion for this fan experience that finds its origins in the first 2009 D23 Expo. This event has grown massively through the years and gives fans the chance to be close to the magic and magic makers in ways never seen before. There will be live stage presentations, special announcements, interactive experiences, and specially curated merchandise.

D23 Asia will be a big part of the continued expansion of D23 events to places around the world. This follows D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience. This comes as D23 continues to bring Disney magic and community around the world, providing experiences that can only be created by Disney. For D23 Asia in Singapore, fans will get a reimagined experience that is created specifically for Asia while also staying true to the scale, creativity, and fan-first spirit that define D23 events around the world.
