Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin Reopens at Disneyland

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is once again spinning guests at Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland. The attraction reopened on the morning of May 1st after being down for refurbishment. During its time closed, it appears that the attraction got some tender loving care with some of its effects. It also seems to have changed the control of the spinning element for the attraction as well. Overall, it is looking very nice!

Daps Magic team member Steven was in the park on Friday when the attraction reopened. He stopped by to experience the attraction and took the following ride-through video. Check it out and see how the attraction looks on its reopening day for yourself!

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin Official Description

Steer a runaway taxicab through the wacky streets of Toontown as you follow the adventures of Roger Rabbit.

Toontown’s Newest Private Eye

With the recent return of the Toon Patrol Weasels to Mickey’s Toontown, Jessica Rabbit has decided it’s time to throw her fedora into the ring by starting her own private investigative service.

Catch a ride in a taxi and follow Roger Rabbit and Benny the Cab as they try to help Jessica Rabbit put a stop to the diabolical plans of the villainous Weasels. But beware—the Weasels are pouring slippery toon-melting Dip in the paths of passing vehicles—including yours!

Is this the end of the line for you and the gang? Don’t count on it!

Based on the Hit Film

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is inspired by the Academy Award®-winning film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by Steven Spielberg, the film successfully created the illusion that animated characters were interacting in the “real” world with people, thanks to the state-of-the-art technology of the time.
