LEGO Store Star Wars Day Mural

LEGO Store at Disneyland Resort Celebrates Star Wars Day

The LEGO Store was the place to be last weekend as it celebrated Star Wars Day. Throughout the weekend, fans were invited to stop by and participate in several activities. They were also invited inside to check out and purchase their favorite Star Wars LEGO sets, both new and old.

From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day between May 2nd and May 4th, guests could stop by and help build a LEGO Star Wars mural outside of the store. While there, they could also build their own N-1 Starfighter and take it home. Or as they say at the LEGO Store, a “make-and-take” offering. On top of that, there was also a Grogu headband that was given out after guests had finished the first two offerings.

Here is a look at what it looked like on Sunday morning as the queue extended into the Downtown Disney District and had to cross the walkway:

Fans also found some awesome LEGO Star Wars sets inside. This includes the new LEGO Star Wars Smart Play sets! On a recent visit, the Daps Magic team got to play with some of these, and they were a lot of fun. The people who participated in these free offerings outside of the LEGO Store also seemed to be having a blast.

What do you think of these fun, free events at the LEGO Store in the Downtown Disney District? Have you participated in any of them? If so, which one? What did you make? If you haven’t, would you like to in the future? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
