On this day in 1946, the Pluto cartoon ‘In Dutch’ was released. Pluto is in the Netherlands working as a milk delivery dog when he falls in love with Dinah, the Dachshund. They sneak off for a quiet moment together, but accidentally ring the alarm bell that means the dike is leaking. The mayor is furious and throws them out of town for crying wolf. The dogs soon discover that the dike has actually been damaged. They have to prove their heroism by convincing the townspeople that the leak is real. [80 years ago in 2026]
