Winnie the Pooh – The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook is now available to purchase wherever books are sold. This book comes out as the world celebrates 100 years of this beloved “silly old bear.” This cookbook is a fantastic way to bring the celebration home, into the kitchen, and ultimately to the dining table. It is full of recipes that connect with the Winnie the Pooh stories and characters that so many fans love.

Structure
There are several different sections to be found in this cookbook. They are broken down in the following ways:
- Chapter 1- All About Honey
- Chapter 2 – Parties and Picnics
- Chapter 3 – Rabbit’s Garden
- Chapter 4 – Holidays in the Hundred-Acre Wood
- Chapter 5 – Suppers
- Chapter 6 – Smackerels
Throughout the six chapters, there are specific recipes that are labeled as kid-friendly recipes. These are some of the easiest recipes found in this cookbook. While it appears that pretty much any of these recipes could be created with the help of kids, these specific recipes that are labeled with a little flower are aimed at younger cooks.

Thoughts
Working through the cookbook, there is a nice variety of recipes to enjoy. I was pleased to discover that there are also things that most people will enjoy, not only cooking, but also eating. There are both sweet and savory recipes found in the book, accompanied by characters of Winnie the Pooh, of course. Both healthy recipes and some that are a little more indulgent can be found. There are also recipes for some drinks. On top of that, there are seasonal recipes as well! I really was impressed with the variety.
The recipes found in Winnie the Pooh – The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook are accessible for chefs of all abilities. This isn’t a book full of complex recipes. Instead, it is full of recipes that families can enjoy together. The recipes are accompanied by fun references to these beloved characters from the Hundred-Acre Wood. Overall, this is a great cookbook for fans of Winnie the Pooh and friends to add to their library. This book gets a solid hat tip from me. I really enjoyed it and look forward to creating more delicious dishes with it in the coming months and years.
