April 28, 2026, is the first Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. It will also be the first chance that guests of the Disneyland Resort will have to experience the expanded timeline for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This will be just one day before the expanded timeline officially debuts at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge. Guests who attend Star Wars Nite will get the opportunity to see Darth Vader, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker on Batuu. They will also get to hear musical selections from John Williams’ Star Wars film scores playing in the land.
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is being offered on the following nights:
- Tuesday, April 28
- Thursday, April 30
- Monday, May 4
- Wednesday, May 6
The expanded timeline will be able to be experienced by guests at all of these Disneyland After Dark events. The expanded timeline will be available during the normal operating hours of Disneyland starting on April 29, 2026.
Expanded Timeline
Starting on April 29, 2026, guests visiting a galaxy far, far away at Disneyland will be able to experience the Galactic Civil War and New Republic, along with the Age of the Resistance and First Order.
The change will see Black Spire Outpost expanding its timeline by several decades. Disney is working on bringing new characters from across the Star Wars timeline. New props and graphics will also be available in certain areas. On top of that, guests will hear the iconic music from Star Wars film scores heard throughout the land. Expect other changes as this expansion takes place. Disney shares that each era will come to life with the same care and attention to detail that the land was originally designed with. This will lead to the stories being masterfully woven together across time and space in one location.

The expansion of the timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will also expand the character lineup. The following characters will be found on Batuu at Disneyland:
- Darth Vader
- Luke Skywalker
- Leia Organa
- Han Solo
- Chewbacca
- Ahsoka Tano
- The Mandalorian and Grogu
- R2-D2
- Rey
