Madame Leota is once again floating during the séance scene in Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. Since the attraction reopened in its classic form in January, her crystal ball and head within had been sitting on a stand on her table as she chanted her incantations to “summon the spirits.” On Thursday, Daps Magic team member Steven discovered that she was once again floating above her table. Madame Leota is the ethereal medium of the Haunted Mansion. She is manifested as a disembodied head that is encased within a crystal ball (that one again floats!) atop a draped table in the Séance room. She is surrounded by floating musical instruments and mystical ephemera. Leota acts as the supernatural bridge between the physical and spiritual realms as she chants her incantations to summon the Haunted Mansion’s happy haunts. She is portrayed by Disney Imagineer Leota Tooms and voiced by Elanor Audley for the traditional version of the attraction.

Daps Magic took the following video of the entire Haunted Mansion attraction earlier this year when it reopened from being transformed back from Haunted Mansion Holiday. In the video, Madame Leota can be seen in her crystal ball sitting on the table.
