On this day in 2011, Fantasmic! debuted at Tokyo DisneySea. It featured some unique elements from its U.S. counterparts. Presented in the Mediterranean Harbor, the show did not have a fixed stage. Instead, it had a central Sorcerer Hat tower and multiple circulating barges. DisneySea’s Fantasmic! included unique segments from ‘Aladdin,’ ‘Finding Nemo,’ and ‘Cinderella.’ Its score was also modified from the original and included a new song, “Imagination.” Fantasmic! ran through February 2020.
