Disneyland Provides First Look at Leia Organa Before Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Timeline Expansion

On April 29, 2026, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland will see its timeline expanded. This will see characters from more Star Wars stories coming to the land. Ahead of this change at Disneyland, some of the new characters who are coming to Batuu are being revealed. Yesterday, a video showcasing Han Solo with Chewbacca in front of the Millennium Falcon was revealed by Disneyland and Star Wars on social media. Today, it is Leia Organa’s turn.

Leia appears in a look that is inspired by her Star Wars Battlefront II “Adventure” appearance. In the video, she appears as she exits the Millennium Falcon. John Williams’ beautiful Princess Leia’s Theme can be heard playing as she appears. She grins as she walks across the concourse. R2-D2 can be heard as she approaches this beloved droid, kneels to him as she does in the original film, and then finally poses in front of the Millennium Falcon. Watch the video here:

For Star Wars fans who are attending the first night of Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, the expansion of the land will be able to be experienced a few hours early.
