Disney has a long legacy of supporting service members and their families through the years. This commitment began with its founders. Both Walt and Roy Disney served during World War I. For over a century now, this dedication to country has continued at Disney. Every day at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom, a special patriotic flag retreat honors those who serve or have served the USA. There have also been attractions, parades, and other offerings through the years that honor the United States of America and those who sacrifice for freedom.
