More Dining and Beverage Experiences for Disney Destiny Shared by Disney Cruise Line

Earlier today, the Disney Cruise Line shared details about some of the dining and beverage experiences that will be found aboard the Disney Destiny when the ship takes to sea later this year. This came with the promise of more details being released soon. The near future has arrived, and more dining and beverage experiences have been announced for the ship. Check them out below!

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King

Guests who experience Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King will get to experience entertainment accompanied by food and beverages inspired by this Disney animated classic. This is a first-of-its-kind experience that will have the songs of original animated version of The Lion King.

During the dining experience, there will be a colorful ensemble of live performers taking the stage and then presenting the musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack. This will tell the story of Simba from where he started as a cub to king. Disney shared that “charismatic storytellers, Mwongozo and Shaha, will share a timeless tale of family and fate through soulful narration, impeccable vocals and creative costume accessories that allow them to take on the personality and attributes of various characters. With an inspiring interpretive dancer and a trio of live musicians specializing in authentic African instruments, the show will be an upbeat and uplifting addition to an already spectacular meal.”

This experience will provide an excellent culinary experience with a wide range of flavors of African cuisines that have a familiar fare that will satisfy the whole family. Diners will be able to expand their culinary horizons as they try traditional dishes from across the continent and then discover new spins on Disney Cruise Line guest-favorite dishes. They will incorporate authentic spice blends, regional sauces, and customary grains and produce.

For those who have a second dinner seating at the restaurant during five-night sailings, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King will feature a second themed menu.

Nala’s Roasted Pork Tenderloin – Black-eyed bean-chorizo casserole, fried yuca, thyme, and pickled purple onions
Pan-seared Berbere-spiced Roasted Chicken – Jollof rice, fried plantains, blistered tomatoes, and green harissa sauce
Cape Malay Shrimp Curry – Garam masala, turmeric, cumin-coconut curry sauce, aromatic basmati rice, cucumber sambal, and butter roti
Heirloom Tomato Kachumbari – Golden beet caviar, nut and seed dukkah-spiced goat cheese, and pea tendrils

Pineapple Upside Down Cake – Moist yogurt cake, caramelized pineapple, cherries, and rooibos mousse
Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding – Sweet vanilla pudding, apricot jam, warm buttery cream sauce, and vanilla ice cream

Can You Feel the Rum Tonight? – Starr 7 Year Oak Aged Rum, Amarula Cream Liqueur, mango smoothie mix, a pinch of cinnamon, shaken with ice, and garnished with a fresh mint leaf
Slimy Yet Satisfying – Sprite infused with lime gelatin and garnished with centipede and worm gummies

De Vil’s

The second new dining destination that was shared later in the day was De Vil’s. This location will take Cruealla’s infamous flair for style and wickedly bold attitude in this fabulously over-the-top piano bar!

Guests will get to enjoy winding down in style with trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubbles. There will be an avant-garde selection of designer drinks that are inspired by characters and icons from throughout Disney’s animated and live-action films. They will also feature garnishes that complement the fashionista’s glamorous legacy

Fashionista – Freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patron Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice clarified with milk and chilled. Served with strawberry shortcake popcorn
Fearless Sir Galahad – Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, and Angostura bitters finished with aromatic smoke
