The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is almost here! Starting on May 16, 2025, the celebration of seven decades of magic at Disneyland will be full of fun, food, merchandise, and entertainment! With the celebration just weeks off, the times for when guests will be able to see the entertainment offerings at the Disneyland Resort are now available on the Disneyland website. Below is a look at when different entertainment offerings will be offered regularly when this milestone celebration gets started.
Disneyland Resort
The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
A new cavalcade will be making its way through Disneyland during the 70th anniversary. Called Mickey and Friends Celebrate Happy!, this cavalcade will include favorite Disney characters and encourage guests to dance and clap along. It promises to be both an “energetic and contemporary celebration of seven decades of happiness.” These cavalcades are generally a great way to see Mickey and friends in new outfits as well! Along with the new outfits and music, Duffy and ShellieMay will also be appearing!

Paint the Night Parade
The popular nighttime Paint the Night parade will be returning to the Disneyland Resort for the 70th-anniversary celebration. With over one million brilliant LED lights, Paint the Night will be lighting up the night on Main Street, USA, and the rest of the parade route at Disneyland.
During the parade, Mickey Mouse will use his vivid imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and “Paint the Night” with Disney dreams. During this, many favorite characters and stories from both Disney and Pixar Animation Studios will arrive. This includes friends from Monsters, Inc, Cars, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and more! The parade will also celebrate the return of the Frozen float when it returns!

Wondrous Journeys
The skies above Disneyland will come to life with the return of Wondrous Journeys. While the sky comes to life, Main Street, USA, Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Rivers of America, and the facade of it’s a small world will all come to life as they become a beautiful canvas to project on. Wondrous Journeys is a celebration of the legacy of Walt Disney Animation Studios classics that inspired Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom. Throughout the show, guests go on a journey that is filled with music, artistry, storytelling, and heart. There are moments from Hercules, The Princess and the Frog, Peter Pan, Frozen, Big Hero 6, Moana, Encanto, and others.
On some nights, the show will include fireworks, and on other nights it will be projection only. When the Halloween and Holiday seasons arrive, Wondrous Journeys will be paused before returning at a later date.

Better Together – A Pixar Pals Celebration
After debuting earlier this year for Pixar Fest, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! will be returning as a part of the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebration. This energetic parade is full of catchy music, dynamic and colorful floats, and nearly 30 favorite friends from the Pixar Animation Studios films. This includes Luca, Turning Red, Up, and others.
When the Halloween and Holiday seasons arrive, Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! will be paused before returning at a later date.

Disney California Adventure (with Muppets pre-show)
World of Color Happiness!
Visit Disney California Adventure Park for a new nighttime spectacular, inspired by Walt Disney’s words from the opening-day dedication of Disneyland 7 decades ago: “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!”
When World of Color Happiness! debuts there will be plenty of magic to be enjoyed by those who are watching it. Along with the new voting feature, before the show begins, there will be magic to be enjoyed. Ahead of the beginning of the show, a special message will be delivered by over a dozen of The Muppets, who are guided by Joe the Legal Weasel. This will utilize vivid projections and expressive fountains ahead of the show.
Guests will also be able to vote on which Emotion from the Inside Out franchise they would like to see featured in World of Color Happiness! This promises to add another level of immersion and interactivity to the experience.

Other Offerings
There will also be other entertainment offerings found throughout the Disneyland Resort. This includes projection shows on both it’s a small world’s facade at Disneyland and the Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure. There will also be breakout groups performing throughout the resort, the Disneyland Band, Dapper Dans, and more! Daps Magic will be checking all of these out and posting them on our YouTube channel.
