The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is currently closed at Disney California Adventure. Walls went up at the entrance to the trail this week. Work could be heard happening behind them. The Disneyland website currently has the following statement about the trail:

According to the Disneyland website’s calendar, the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail should be reopening on April 11, 2025. Below is the official description for the trail:

Explore, climb, swing and play during a wilderness adventure for the whole family.
Hit the Trail
Encounter the Great Outdoors along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Explore the area in any order you wish and enjoy a “forest” range of activities for everyone.
Practice the art of traverse climbing at the Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb. Glide down a natural rock slide. Clamber up the ropes course to the lookout towers high above the tree line. Practice your park ranger skills on the tire swing at Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower.

Big Adventures for Kids of All Sizes
The experiences of Redwood Creek Challenge Trail have no height or age requirements except:
- Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb – Guests must be 42 inches (106 cm) or taller.
- Hoot n’ Holler Log Slides – Guests must be 32 inches (81 cm) or taller.
- Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower – Guests must be between 42 inches (106 cm) and 63 inches (160 cm) tall. Guests must also be 12 years old or younger.
