Captain America: Brave New World has scored another win at the weekend box office. Over the weekend, the movie brought in $15 million. This comes on the Academy Awards weekend, which has been a slow weekend for moviegoers.
The movie has not had the strength of other movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. To date, it has earned $163.7 million domestically, and globally it has earned $341.8 million. This puts it above the earnings of movies like The Eternals or The Marvels. Its box office strength is closer aligned with that of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania.

Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
