More information has been released regarding D23’s return to Marceline, Missouri, the small town integral to Walt Disney’s boyhood. D23 is excited to bring back this fan-favorite event filled with Disney history that you won’t want to miss! D23 Gold Members are invited to chug along on a weekend all about Walt, including tours of Marceline’s local landmarks and celebrations at cherished Disney hallmarks. Plus, enjoy local dining and shopping, and some special guests!
The fun will begin in Chillicothe, MO, on Friday, May 16, 2025, where guests can check in and enjoy a dessert reception that evening hosted by the Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau. The following day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 8:30 am, guests will ride transportation from Chillicothe to Marceline, MO, for a full day of Disney fun!
Tickets for D23 Gold Members will go on sale on Wednesday, March 19 (10 am PT / 1 pm ET) here. Tickets are $380, plus a $3 processing fee per ticket.
D23 All Aboard to Walt Disney’s Marceline will include:
- Dessert reception hosted by the Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau on the evening of May 16.
- Transportation to Marceline from Chillicothe, MO (where guests will check-in for the event).
- Special tours for D23 Gold Members at the John J. Pershing Museum and the Historic Doc Cater Home.
- Self-guided exploration of Marceline, Missouri, including the Walt Disney Post Office, the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, Downtown Marceline, and Marceline’s Main Street.
- Exclusive shopping items for D23 Members, including a specially designated USPS postmark and Main Street offerings.
- Special presentation with Bret Iwan (the Official Voice of Mickey Mouse) about Walt Disney, his love of trains, and more!
- Evening at the Disney Family Farm with live entertainment, food and drinks, photo ops, and fireworks show.
- Commemorative D23 event gift.
Check-in for the event, along with transportation from Marceline will take place in Chillicothe, MO. Special hotel rates will be available to guests who have purchased tickets to this event. More details on booking will be made available in your ticket purchase confirmation email. (The cost of the event ticket does not include hotel stay.)

ABOUT MARCELINE
Marceline is the hometown of Walt Disney, where he spent a great deal of his childhood years, from 1906 to 1911. Main Street, U.S.A. at Disney Parks are inspired by downtown Marceline. A walk down this charming original Main Street gives visitors the same feeling that Walt experienced as a boy. The beauty of Marceline is further enhanced by its small-town casual and friendly atmosphere. Located in North Central Missouri, we’re 3 miles south of U.S. 36 and halfway between St. Joseph and Hannibal. Marceline’s Santa Fe depot houses the Walt Disney Hometown Museum.
ABOUT THE DISNEY FAMILY FARM
The Disney family moved to this farm in Marceline in 1906. It was on this very land that a young Walt Disney would say he found the magic of his life. Too young to be responsible for any major farm work, Walt and his younger sister Ruth found a deep connection to the magic of this farmland. On this farm, Walt held his first live show, developed his love for nature, and had a special place under his Dreaming Tree.

- D23 Gold Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to one (1) guest.
- Each attendee must have a ticket in their possession for entry.
- There are a limited number of tickets available. D23 Gold Members must log in by using their D23 Member account information when reserving tickets.
- All guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to attend this D23 event and will require an event ticket for admission. While there is no age restriction, due to the historic nature and walking involved in the event, it is recommended for older children and adults.

- D23 Gold Members who do not bring their membership card and tickets may not be admitted to the event. Membership card may be a physical card or a digital membership card found in the D23 App.
- Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event, forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
- The cost of the event does not include hotel stay.
