The first trailer and a poster for the second and final season of Andor have been released. This comes ahead of its arrival on April 22, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. The second season will see the return of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Senator Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly), Bix Caleen (Adria Arjona), Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård), and Syril Karn (Kyle Soller). There will also be some new but familiar characters joining this second season. This includes K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), and Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn).
The second season includes 12 episodes that take place over four years. The season will be divided into four chapters, each featuring three episodes and focusing on the events of one year.
In Season 1, Cassian went on a journey that saw him transition from a reluctant and cynical nobody to become a revolutionary volunteer. The second season will see characters from the first season and their relationships intensify as the war with the Empire grows closer. This leads to Cassian Andor becoming a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Throughout the season, everyone will find themselves tested as the stakes rise. Betrayals, sacrifices, and conflicting agendas will also become much more profound.

“One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries,” said creator and executive producer Tony Gilroy. “They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”
