It’s official, the annual CHOC Walk in the Park will be returning to the Disneyland Resort on August 3, 2025. Registration for this event is now open and you can join Team Daps Magic at chocwalk.org/dapsmagic.
CHOC Walk raises funds for Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), the pediatric healthcare system serving children and families in Orange County and throughout Southern California. The event will take place early in the morning on August 3rd. Thousands of fundraisers will come together at Disneyland for the 5k walk through the parks before they are open for their normal daily operations. The walkers will make their way through Disneyland and then Disney California Adventure. Along the way, they will discover some magical surprises that often include Disney characters, photo ops, and more!
The 2024 CHOC Walk in the Park included over 6,500 participants making their way through the parks. There were over 350 teams that raised over $2.3 million for children’s health and well-being. Through the decades, CHOC Walk has raised over $46 million!
The proceeds for this year’s CHOC Walk in the Park will be going to support healthcare programs, education, and research at CHOC’s Orange and Mission Viejo Campuses, CHOC’s primary and specialty care networks, and also the education and research efforts throughout Southern California.
The CHOC Walk in the park is a chance for the community of fans of Disney and positive stuff to come together and make a difference. It is an investment in children and their families who end up at CHOC. This investment provides hope and possibilities for these children and their families for the future. Who knows what will grow out of the experiences these people have. It could lead to new breakthroughs, new leaders, new ideas, and other things! An investment in children is an investment in the future. It isn’t just making the world a better place, it’s also helping make the future better.
