40 Years of Adventure Small World

A Daily Gift for You – 30 Years Ago at Disneyland

I hope you have read my January article, all about a very successful promotion that took place thirty years ago at Disneyland. If you haven’t, I’ll wait while you go read it here.

You’re back? Good!

On February 1, 1995, Disneyland continued its Collectors’ Card giveaway with the 1966 card. This card, number 12 in the series of 40, celebrated the opening of it’s a small world. The attraction had been moved to the park after proving itself very popular at the New York World’s Fair. The “happiest cruise that ever sailed” combined 297 automated dolls, 256 toys, and a memorable theme song by the Academy Award(R) winning composers Richard and Robert Sherman.

And here is that card for you, front and back. Be sure to return tomorrow, when we will have card number 13 for 1967 for you. In fact, you will want to come back every day for your free gift card, just as it was thirty years ago at Disneyland!
