On Friday, February 17, 2025, Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort began at The Happiest Place on Earth! The celebration of the Lunar New Year traditions of China, Vietnam, and Korea has plenty of Disney characters in seasonal outfits, 74 special dishes, and of course a fantastic lineup of entertainment. This includes groups at specific locations at Disney California Adventure and the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration ahead of World of Color – ONE, and the popular Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional.
Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional runs the length of the park along the parade route. This processional has Mushu joined by Mulan and plenty of performers and drummers as they make their way through Disney California Adventure. Along with having the music of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Mulan, this processional also shows some of the different performance traditions of Lunar New Year and has them explained as they go by.

There are many different ways to celebrate Lunar New Year at Disneyland Resort from January 17 through February 16th. With the return of Sip & Savor Passes, guests can enjoy tasting their way around the park. There are also some fantastic performance groups like Vocal Seoul at Sonoma Terrace, live performance groups at Paradise Garden Bandstand, and much more!
