On this day in 1935, cultural icon, singer, dancer, and actor Elvis Presley was born. Elvis’ legacy has influenced so much in popular culture over the years, including Disney. Although the King of Rock and Roll never appeared in a Disney film, there have been numerous references to him and his music. Some of the most notable homages are in ‘Lilo & Stitch,’ ‘Cars,’ ‘The Game Plan,’ ‘Sesame Street,’ and in projects from The Muppets and The Country Bears. [90 years ago in 2025]
