This summer at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, a new nighttime parade was announced for Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom. The new parade was simply called Disney Starlight. Over the weekend, the full name and concept were announced during The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular on ABC.
The full name for the new nighttime parade is Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. During a segment of The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular, Tara Anderson shared details about this parade. Anderson is the show director for this new parade.
“Disney Starlight is a constellation of Disney Dreams brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy,” Anderson shared. “Fans will see Disney favorites. From classics like Pinocchio and Peter Pan to newer favorites like Encanto, Frozen, and Moana. We’re taking this idea of a magical constellation of wishes and dreams and weaving it throughout the parade uniting our stories with a touch of hope and wonder.”

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will be arriving at Magic Kingdom in the summer of 2025. This will be the first time that Magic Kingdom will have a nighttime parade since the Main Street Electrical Parade ended its last run at the park in 2016.
More details were also revealed about Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After during The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular as well. The full program is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
