After Hurricane Milton passed through this week, Walt Disney World Resort has reopened its parks and Disney Springs. The storm led to the closure of all four parks at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs, and other outdoor offerings. During the storms, guests were instructed to stay in their rooms or hotels to avoid the dangers of a hurricane.
Today, the parks at Walt Disney World Resort are open for the following hours:
- Magic Kingdom – 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- EPCOT – 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios – 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom – 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be offered at Magic Kingdom from 7:00 PM to 12:AM tonight. Disney Springs is open from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Not everything has reopened at Walt Disney World Resort, however. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa remain closed. A specific reopening timeline has not been shared at this time. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is expected to reopen to all guests on October 12, 2024.
For those who had multi-day tickets that were already in use and set to expire, Disney is changing the expiration dates to reflect the impact of the storm. More information about this can be found on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
Other theme parks and resorts are also reopening in Central Florida. Orlando International Airport (MCO) also reopened on Friday.
