On this day in 2019, ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ was released in theaters. It was the second in the ‘Maleficent’ series, a live-action reimagination of Disney’s animated classic ‘Sleeping Beauty.’ Angelina Jolie returns in the title role along with Elle Fanning as her goddaughter Aurora.
