On this day in 2016, Disney’s subsidiary, Touchstone Pictures ceased operations after 32 years. This studio released more adult films for Disney, including Who Framed Roger Rabbit and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Later, films like 10 Things I Hate About You, Armageddon, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy were just a few of many films released by the label before it was eventually closed.
