Joan Vassos is currently seen by fans on The Golden Bachelorette. On Thursday night, fans attending Aladdin on Broadway also got to see Vassos on stage with Adi Roy (Aladdin) and Sonya Balsara (Jasmine) as the matchmaking Fortune Teller. Following the performance,The Golden Bachelorette joined the company of Aladdin for a bow. At this point, Michael James Scott (Genie) stepped forward and asked if she would “accept these roses.” This continues a tradition that the Bachelorette is known for. He then presented her with an overflowing bouquet of roses.

Aladdinon Broadway is based on the Disney animated film of the same name. It originally opened at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre to critical acclaim on March 20, 2014. It quickly became a popular hit on Broadway and continues to do so today. Earlier this year, it celebrated its 10th anniversary with some very special events.
