The 4th season of Only Murders in the Building is just getting going but the 5th season has already been ordered. The series, which stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, sees a trio of sleuths who podcast murder investigations, continues to be popular and recently earned 21 Emmy nominations for its third season.
The fourth season has just gotten started with Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short) & Mabel (Gomez) traveling to Los Angeles to see their podcast made into a movie. At the same time, a murder mystery is developing around them. This season sees quite the collection of guest stars joining the show. This includes the return of Meryl Streep, Jane Lynch, Michael Cyril Creighton and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. They will be joined by newcomers Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Kind.
New episodes are currently being released on Hulu on Tuesdays. The final episode of season four is set to be released on October 29, 2024.
Only Murders in the Building comes from the creative minds of co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
Just like the seasons before it, Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building will have 10 episodes. A release date has not been announced for the next season of the series.
