It’s hard to believe it but Cotino – a Storyliving by Disney community is just months away from residents beginning to move in! Ahead of their arrival, Disney is sharing some updates about this first Storyliving by Disney community. In the last couple of days, Disney has shared a video that gives a virtual tour of the community. The company has also revealed that the first model homes for Cotino are nearing completion. Below is a look at both of these updates!
The model homes are near completion at Cotino. While the exteriors on some of them are complete, the interiors are still being polished up. The first model homes are being built by Shea Homes. These houses have exteriors that bring stunning desert architecture to life with rock detail and siding. There are three different model homes under construction that are infused with Disney magic through the creative direction of Walt Disney Imagineers. They are part of the different design collections found at Cotino.
The first home (on the left) is part of the Cotino Agrarian Collection. It features natural materials including stone and timber that are pared with contemporary shapes to create a charming yet modern style. The second home (on the right) is part of the Cotino Oasis Collection. Its exterior design is inspired by the iconic, renowned mid-century modern architecture that the are is known for.
Just down the street, a model home from the Woodbridge Pacific Group is also being built. This is part of the Cotino Aspiron Collection. This collection is all about the artistic momentum of the Valley today. There will be modern glass and concrete featured at this home along with pops of playful color. The goal here is to exude warmth and style coupled with an artistic flair.

The Shea Homes model homes are expected to be completed and also opening to be toured in the coming weeks.
