The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Inspiration for The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort was drawn by Walt Disney Imagineers from the peaceful surroundings. They are also infused with a touch of Disney whimsy to create unique accommodations that are dedicated to preserving the resort’s heritage with a an added bit of Disney magic.

Guests entering these cabins will enjoy the light and beauty from the outdoors that come in through glass windows that go from the ceiling to the floor. This is accompanied by charming original artwork inside. Each cabin has nods to the resort’s early days along with familiar faces like Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and even Chip and Dale!

The cabins are each one-bedroom and can sleep up to six guests. The cabins include a main bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, a living area, dining area, and also an outdoor patio. There are also elevated just-like-home comforts to make each stay unique and comfortable. On top of that, there are also dog-friendly cabins for those who want to bring the four-legged friends.

The cabins were also built with an eye toward sustainability. This is in line with The Walt Disney Company’s environmental goals. The cabins were created through an innovative process that was developed in collaboration with two Florida businesses. Because of this, each cabin was produced with less than one percent of metal waste. They were also constructed in a way that preserved the natural beauty of the resort’s wilderness. Each cabin is also equipped with an on-site electric vehicle charging station.
