The EPCOT Disney Vacation Club Lounge will be closing temporarily this summer. The closure is for a planned refurbishment and will be for just under two weeks. The following notice was shared on the Walt Disney World Resort website on the member lounge’s page:
Please note the Member Lounge in the Imagination! Pavilion will be temporarily closed from June 2, 2024 – July 13, 2024 due to a planned refurbishment. The Lounge is scheduled to reopen on July 14, 2024. During this closure, please use a temporary lounge space located inside The Odyssey.
The Member Lounge in the Imagination! Pavilion is a complimentary place for Disney Vacation Club Members to rest and recharge. This space includes seats, complimentary beverages, wi-fi, an area for children to play, and guest services as well.
The lounge will be reopening on July 14, 2024 after the brief refurbishment. Earlier this year, permits were pulled for the Imagination! Pavilion. There was speculation that this could be for work on the attraction, perhaps even reimagining it. It is also quite possible that the permits that were pulled were for this project. It is unknown how extensive the refurbishment of this lounge will be.
