Anaheim Ducks fans and Anaheim Ducks players all descended on Disney California Adventure on Thursday afternoon for the first of two Anaheim Ducks Days. Throughout the park, fans could be seen wearing their Anaheim Ducks jerseys or other themed outfits. Hollywoodland was transformed into a celebration of the Ducks with plenty of different activities for fans to experience. This included:
- Photo Op with Stanley Cup
- Anaheim Ducks Days Merchandise
- Anaheim Ducks Days Photo Ops
- Anaheim Ducks Days Themed Foods/Beverages
- Meet and Greet Opportunities with Anaheim Ducks Players
- Photo Op with Wild Wing
- Different Hockey-Themed Activities
- Anaheim Ducks Days Cavalcades
- Parkwide “Seek and Find” Activity
- Learn to Draw Disney Ducks in the Animation Academy
- Anaheim Ducks Power Players and DJs
- Evening Performances of Anaheim Ducks DJs and a Live Band
On both days, a cavalcade with current and former players for the Anaheim Ducks was presented at 1:45 PM. Thursday’s cavalcade included some of the current players for the Anaheim Ducks. Friday’s cavalcade will have alumni from the team. Daps Magic was on hand to capture this special moment as fans cheered on the players and Disney characters in the cavalcade. Watch it here:
There is also a special Magic Key exclusive rally towel that is offered between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the Hyperion Theater. There is a limit of one towel per Magic Key holder and the Magic Key holder must be present to receive one. There could be limited availability so if you want one, visit early. If they have run out, please be gracious.
Originally founded by The Walt Disney Company in 1993, the Anaheim Ducks were originally known as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, a name which was inspired by the 1992 Disney film, The Mighty Ducks. The name remained the same until the 2006-2007 season when the club officially became known as the Anaheim Ducks.
This year’s Anaheim Ducks Days is being offered at Disney California Adventure on February 22 and February 23. This is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort for fans of the Anaheim Ducks.
