On this day in 1912, animator John Sibley was born. He was known as the “Goof Master” at Disney Studios because he was Goofy’s lead animator on over 40 shorts. He is also known for his animation work on ‘Sleeping Beauty,’ ‘101 Dalmatians,’ ‘Lady and the Tramp,’ ‘The Sword in the Stone,’ ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,’ and ‘The Three Caballeros,’ among many others!
