On this day in 2007, the stage show ‘Finding Nemo: The Musical’ premiered in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It was the first time Disney had created a musical show for the parks out of a non-musical movie. As a result, all of its songs had to be written especially for the show. ‘Finding Nemo: The Musical’ took place in the Theater in the Wild, the largest venue at Animal Kingdom, with room for 1,500 guests.
