New Adventures Coming to Star Tours in Spring 2024!

At Destination D23 this weekend it was announced that new adventures will be coming to Star Tours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, Disneyland Park in California and Disneyland Paris. These new adventures will be arriving at all three parks in the spring of 2024. The new adventures will take Star Tours passengers on new adventures to new destinations. It also seems that Ahsoka Tano may be a part of these new adventures. The announcement was made as Ahsoka continues to stream new episodes on Disney+. The announcement was also partnered with the reminder that Ahsoka is streaming new episodes on Disney+ weekly.

Star Tours originally opened at Disneyland in 1987. Two years later it would open at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disneyland. It opened in 1992 at Disneyland Paris. The original version of the attraction continued to try to take guests to Endor until 2010, when it closed at Disneyland in California and was replaced by Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. Eventually this new version of the attraction would make its way to the other locations around the globe. Where as Captain “Rex” RX-24 was the original pilot on Star Tours, he was replaced in the new version by C-3P0 in the newer version. Since opening in 2011, more adventures have been added to the attraction.

Star Tours continues to be a fan-favorite as it takes guests on adventures into a galaxy far, far away. An exact date for the introduction of the new adventures to the attraction was not announced this weekend. Daps Magic will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available.
