Little Lilou – who came to Disneyland Paris with her family thanks to the Rêves non-profit organization – had the magical opportunity to see her dream of meeting her favorite princess Aurora fulfilled during a special meet-and-greet session that was organized just for her.
The family from Antibes got to enjoy a weekend filled with fun and magic in the Park! To make this experience even more unforgettable, Disneyland Paris teams organized a surprise specially for the little girl, who got some makeup applied prior to putting on Aurora’s dress and meeting with her favorite princess. That moment was truly magical!
“It was a real surprise. Lilou was not expecting to get a makeover and have Aurora all to herself. She felt privileged and was incredibly touched by this gesture,” said the child’s mother. The child sees Aurora as a symbol of “magic, dreams, and beauty. She lives in a fantasy world that helps her find strength in her battle. Just like beloved princesses, Lilou is a brave, positive, and optimistic little girl.”
Throughout the year and for more than thirty years, Disneyland Paris has been hosting and granting the wishes of critically-ill children in collaboration with more than forty French and European non-profit organizations.
