“Elemental Connection” Pre-Show Debuts Ahead of “World of Color – ONE” at Disney California Adventure

A new pre-show debuted ahead of World of Color – ONE at Disney California Adventure on Friday. Elemental Connection is a short that gives guests at the Disneyland Resort a preview of what will be seen when Disney & Pixar’s Elemental arrives in movie theaters. Elemental Connection is slightly longer than 2 minutes and begins a couple of minutes before World of Color – ONE’s scheduled showing at 9:00 PM. Elemental Connection Description

Brilliant projections dance across vast water screens in this two-minute pre-show, bringing the land, air, water and fire residents of Element City to life. In this heartfelt story, fire element Ember and water element Wade discover that though the world tells them they can’t coexist, they are more alike than they realize. As whimsical fountains and powerful music fill Paradise Bay, you’ll see that stepping out of your element may help you uncover who you really are, just like Ember and Wade.

Elemental Connections is part of the promotion for Disney & Pixar’s Elemental which will be arriving in theaters later this month. It is directed by Peter Sohn, produced by Denise Ream, and features the voices of Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie as Ember and Wade. Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
