As is often the case in the movie business, release schedules get updated fairly frequently. This is the case for The Walt Disney Company which announced an updated schedule for many of its movies in the coming years. This includes movies from the Star Wars, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Avatar franchises. While movies that are set to be released in the coming months have not seen a change of schedule, many others have seen their release dates updated.

The updated release schedule comes after Disney CEO Bob Iger said that Disney would be more intentional about what it releases when it releases things, and also where. This comes as Disney has restructured its main segments in recent months and also worked to achieve $5.5 billion in savings through multiple different means.
