The themes have been revealed for runDisney’s 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. The weekend, which happens from January 4-7, 2024. It includes a 5k, 10k, Walt Disney World Half Marathon, Walt Disney World Marathon, Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, Dopey Challenge, and also virtual races.

Walt Disney World 5K
January 4, 2024
Ready, set, go! Rely on Pluto to be your “best friend” as you race through a 3.1-mile adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
- Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration begins April 4, 2023.
- General Registration opens April 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM ET.
Registration fee varies based on the date of purchase:
- April 11, 2023 – October 16, 2023: $107.99
- October 17, 2023: $117.99

That’s a grand total of 6 Medals and 48.6 miles in one weekend!
You’ll need to register for the Dopey Challenge, which includes all 4 races, in order to be eligible for the challenge medals.

Registration fee varies based on the date of purchase:

Complete the both the Half Marathon and the Marathon races on pace and earn:
- Walt Disney World Half Marathon Medal

- Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge Medal
That’s a grand total of 3 medals and 39.3 miles across all four parks!
You’ll need to register for the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, which includes both races, in order to be eligible for the challenge medal.

Registration fee varies based on the date of purchase:
