Disney After Hours Events Get New Dates and a New Theme Park

New dates and a new theme park have been added to Disney After Hours events at Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney After Hours are ticketed experiences that happen after the gates of one of Disney’s theme parks close for the day. This gives guests extra access to their favorite attractions and have more time to experience Disney magic. The event ticket will also allow guests early entry into the park before the Disney After Hours event at 6:00 PM at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and 7:00 PM at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With limited amount of tickets being available for these events, often wait times are much lower for popular attractions.

Today Disney announced that EPCOT is being added to the Disney After Hours events lineup. Guests will get three extra hours to experience favorite attractions at EPCOT like Frozen Ever After, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. There will also be the opportunity to take photos with favorite Disney characters and enjoy Disney snacks as they explore EPCOT’s four neighborhoods. Ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select beverages are included with the cost of the ticketed event. They will be available at carts throughout the park.

H20 Glow After Hours is also returning when Typhoon Lagoon Water Park reopens this spring. This ticketed event has vibrant decor, a specialty themed menu of snacks and treats throughout the park, and favorite water attractions under the stars to enjoy. A DJ will also be playing favorite songs during a DJ dance party. H20 Glow is another new experience added to the Disney After Hours list.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, more dates are being added for Disney After Hours. This will allow guests to fly aboard the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, going on a wacky adventure on Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, visit Toy Story Land, and more.

These experiences are set to start on May 20 at Typhoon Lagoon and June 1 at EPCOT. These will be joining Magic Kingdom, which runs through March 27, and also Disney’s Hollywood Studios which is currently being offered with additional dates being offered starting on May 3.

Tickets will go on sale for EPCOT, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting March 3, 2023. Prices range from $75 to $149 (plus tax). For guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, tickets can be purchased for Disney After Hours at EPCOT and Typhoon Lagoon starting on February 28. The early window for purchasing these tickets is available for guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, as well as Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort.

There are also specialty priced tickets for these events on select dates for Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Annual Passholders as well.
